Is there any point in them making The Mummy 4: Rise Of The Aztec?

I loved the The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, clic films that I actually rate higher than the Indiana Jones sequels. BUT... the last Mummy film (The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) to be fair kind of sucked mainly because it didn't have the delectable Rachel Weisz playing Evie ;) which leads me to my next point its been stated that most of the original cast doesn't want anything to do with the new project (i.e. Brendan Fraser, John Hannah etc), so I ask what are people's opinions on the film if it gets made? do you think like me it will be s**t like the last film especially with all the original irreplaceable cast not being in it? or will this do the franchise some good having a new cast and story line?
