Why life partner goes out of partnership with unreasonable cause to satisfy wrong wish of parents to do wrong?

Under what compulsion an educated indian wife keeps her parents wrong wishes always up generally she is neglecting her own children and husband to live with parents? The proper upbringing of own children became concern. Her both parents are socially disliked by their neighbourhood because of uncommon, unsocial, unethical, illegal and selfish behaviour. Do you have any helping advice so that both life partner and children can live together for happy and healthy life. Husband of the so called educated wife has decided not to live in owned house which is in the neighbourhood of his inlaws where his life became hell due to partial complaining and disturbing nature of an illiterate mother in law and father in law who is in police and demands ransom of two million for return of wife and children. His inlaws and wife are adament. Both are living separately, what to do to keep them together?
