I really like him ; and i think he likes me?

I really like this kid in my school, his name is George. I've liked him since may of last year. Really long time! Except I met him not too long ago, I met him when the movie prom night came out. I told him I like him and he said my chances aren't bad with him. And last night on aim we were talking he said he loves me im the best and he put me on his top on myspace. His 2 friends Richie and Bryan both said they think he likes me and that i have a chance with him. Bryan thinks i should ask george out after him and his girlfriend break up. I really like him and i really do want to ask him out but i don't know if i should because i don't know if he likes me or not. Help? Advice? please?!
