Should mom go to wedding of granddaughter? She has dementia?

Mom seems out of sorts when I take her out of her isting living setting. They give her special care around the clock. I took her out for mother's day and upon returning she seemed so afraid we would just leave her with nobody. She didnt even know where she was returning too. She was anxious, frightened, weeping, etc. I am reluctant to take her to the wedding of her granddaughter for the confusion of 200 people and music maybe too much for her. Your advice would be helpful. thank you.
